Selling Chinese Pokémon on Whatnot, TikTok Shop and eBay Live
Chinese Pokémon has become a staple of live breaks because the packs are different from what every other stream is opening. Here is how sellers plan stock for it.
Work out your cost per pack
Live sellers price by the pack, so start there. Divide the case price by the number of packs in the case: a 20-box case of slim boxes holds 300 packs (20 × 15), and a 20-box jumbo case holds 120 packs (20 × 6). Approved Cardroad accounts see the price per case, per box and per pack on every product page, so this is already done for you.
Pick formats for the show
- Jumbo packs: 20 cards each, so every pack is a full opening. Good for headline breaks.
- Slim packs: lower cost per pack, good for pack battles, add-ons and giveaways.
- Gem Packs: a Chinese-exclusive series that viewers can’t get in English, which makes them easy to feature.

Tell viewers what they’re buying
Say clearly that the product is Simplified Chinese, that the cards are not tournament-legal in English play, and what is in each pack. Clear listings mean fewer disputes and repeat buyers who know what to expect.
