Gem Pack: the Pokémon format sold only in China
Gem Packs are a Pokémon format that exists only in Simplified Chinese. There is no English or Japanese equivalent. Every pack holds 4 cards, every card is holo, and each volume has illustrations of its own. The set codes start with CBB: CBB2C is Vol.2, CBB3C is Vol.3, and so on.

The volumes
- Vol.2 is the Eeveelution volume. Its chase card is Umbreon 615, with art printed only in Chinese. Boxes hold 15 packs.
- Vol.3 has a night theme led by Gengar and Cubone, both with China-only illustrations.
- Vol.4 to Vol.6 follow the same format, 18 packs of 4 cards per box, each with its own exclusive art.
Why shops and live sellers stock them
Buyers can’t get Gem Packs in English, so they stand out on a shelf or a stream that otherwise opens the same sets as everyone else. Small packs of all-holo cards also make quick, frequent openings.
